Friendship Public Charter Schools seeks qualified and experienced bidder(s) to provide PreK-12 professional development and curriculum consultancy for the Student Support Services and Health and PE Teams.
Professional development may be focused on content, pedagogy, character education, social emotional competency, health and physical education as well as behavioral health and students with varied needs including gifted and talented, special education and students requiring additional support to fully access core content curriculum.
This professional development and coaching may include consultation, advisement and facilitation or presentation of professional development sessions with a focus on relevant teaching and learning, culturally relevant pedagogy, content and conceptual developments, in and out of the classroom coaching, observation and debriefing, coherent integration of resources, materials, and technology,, vertical and horizontal alignment of curriculum and in-depth of training to the level or rigor, classroom management and positive behavior support, Professional Learning Communities, professional development for campus administrators, and teachers and teacher retention all within the context of urban schools.
Vendors responding must address the respective core content areas: Advanced strategies, tools and resources for all core and enrichment subjects, including gifted and talented; special education and social emotional; Response to Intervention (RTI); supports for English Language Learners; or students requiring additional support.
