Seeking qualified vendor for regulated medical waste collection and disposal services Friendship Public Charter School seeks qualified and regulated bidders for medical waste collection and disposal vendor to support rapid antigen testing in eight of our school locations in the District of Columbia. As defined, medical waste is a potentially infectious waste of materials generated at health care facilities, such as hospitals, clinics, physician’s offices, dental practices, blood banks, and veterinary hospitals/clinics, as well as medical research facilities and laboratories. Friendship Public Charter Schools is approved for infectious disease testing pursuant to DCMR Title 22-B2 Communicable and Reportable Diseases under DC Department of Health Regulations and Licensing Administration Health Care Facilities Division in the certificate of licensure in the discipline(s): Abbott Binax Now COVID-19 Ag POC SARS-CoV 2-RDT testing Effective date: January 28, 2021 Expiration date: December 31, 2021. CONTRACT PERIOD: The term of this contract is for one year, or as negotiated. There will be an option for renewal, or as negotiated.
