Seeking qualified and experienced bidder(s) for Strategic Communications Consulting Services for Strategy, Support Building and Representation with District Government Executive Agencies Friendship Public Charter Schools seeks qualified and experienced bidder(s) for Strategic communications consulting services for strategy, support building and representation with District government executive agencies. Services to include but not limited to: Represent Friendship PCS in collective specific action(s) related to legislative/regulations proposed by any District government executive agency/entity including but not limited to the Mayor’s Office, City Council, Deputy Mayor of Education, Office of the State Superintendent, Public Charter School Board or District of Columbia Public Charter Schools. Build and maintain support with the Mayor, Council Chairman, and City Council members with regard to critical issues and more importantly viewpoints that may differ in varying forms from the overall public charter school community. Strategize, develop and drive proactive legislative or policy initiatives on behalf of the above organizations separate from or in conjunction with other stakeholders to either the District and/or Federal entities. Increase the presence and positive image of District charter schools by building and maintaining support among key elected officials in Congress. Represent Friendship PCS in collective or specific action(s) related to legislative/regulations proposed by any Federal government agency/entity including but not limited to the Executive Office of the President, the Department of Education, the United States Senate or the House of Representatives. Monitor legislative action at the Federal and District level as it pertains to charter schools as well as identify areas where legislation can be proposed to improve the legislative/regulatory environment.
