Seeking qualified vendors for student transportation to and from the Friendship Ideal Campus. Friendship Public Charter Schools seeks a fully licensed transportation vendor to provide bus services for AM/PM route runs to and from the Friendship Ideal Campus located at 6130 N. Capitol Street, NW, Washington, D.C., 20011, as well as transportation for field trips and sports events for all Friendship PCS campuses. Scope of Work and Deliverables- Ideal Campus morning and evening route runs: Vendor would provide service along the following routes, approximately 8 pick-up locations beginning at 6:40am and arriving at Friendship Ideal Campus at 8:00am. Evening runs to 8 drop off locations beginning at 3:30pm to approximately 5:15pm. Projected routes and stops: Kenilworth Ave and Quarles Street, SE, – 1 stop Benning Rd, SE, – 1 stop 14th Street & Varnum St. NW – 5 stops along route Big Chair in SE- 1 stop NY Ave., NE – 3 homeless shelters- 3 stops Hechinger Mall – 1 stop Rhode Island Ave, NE (shopping center) – 1 stop 3355 Benning Rd NE, Shell Gas Station (River Terrace)- 1 stop Vendor should be prepared to propose optimal routes and stops for cost saving and best student service based on SY 2019-2020 student location information. Pricing for Ideal Campus morning and evening route runs should be based on 181 school days for students. Vendor should also provide pricing for student transportation for local and regional field trips and sporting events for all Friendship PCS campuses.
