Seek qualified vendors to provide Implementation and configuration or design and build a business intelligence and data warehousing solution Friendship PCS is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors interested in providing an integrated student data warehousing and dashboard creation solution for Friendship PCS to implement throughout the organization. The new system needs to pull existing student data from district systems, such as the student information system PowerSchool, interim assessment system Illuminate, state end-of-year assessments CSV (or similarly formatted) files, and other datasets into one single data warehouse for Friendship PCS to utilize in their day-to-day operations. Additionally, the system must provide a reporting solution that allows district staff to generate and disseminate customizable data dashboards throughout the district. Friendship PCS requires a vendor that offers a turn-key solution, which provides installation of the solution, data conversion from existing data sets, and consultation and training for the ongoing development of new data dashboards. The successful vendor must be able to directly provide the appropriate software solution that is compliant with all Federal and District of Columbia state statutes, sufficient licenses for district-wide implementation, all future software upgrades and enhancements, training and on-going support, and sign any contracts including software license agreements, in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications described in this RFP. Friendship PCS takes the privacy and security of our students’ data seriously. In consideration of the requirement to comply with applicable federal and DC laws, proposers are specifically advised of the requirements of the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99) and DC’s “B21-0578 – Protecting Students Digital Privacy Act of 2016” and are expected to certify compliance of their solution with each.
