Morrise Harbour was named principal of the Friendship Chamberlain Campus in November 2011. With more than seven years’ experience teaching middle school mathematics in New York City and Maryland schools, he transitioned to an assistant principal role in D.C. Public Schools before joining the Friendship Chamberlain Campus in the 2008-2009 school year. Under Mr. Harbour’s leadership and through his commitment to children and families, Friendship Chamberlain has achieved and maintained a Tier 1 status since the 2012-2013 school year. In addition to holding a master’s degree in education and school building leadership from Saint John’s University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sacred Heart University, Mr. Harbour holds a license in administration and supervision for pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
