Seeking qualified vendor for Food service equipment used in the preparation of foods provided to students as part of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. Delivery of the equipment to identified site, installation, removal, and disposal of existing equipment.
Friendship PCS is seeking a vendor to supply:
Equipment used in the storage and preparation of foods provided to students as part of the Nations School Lunch and School Breakfast programs.
Focus 1: Food Safety
Equipment that improves the safety of food served in the school nutrition programs (e.g., cold/hot holding equipment, dishwashing equipment, refrigeration, milk coolers, freezers, blast coolers, etc.)
Focus Area 2: Efficiency of School Nutrition Operations
Equipment that improves the overall efficiency of the school nutrition operations, including equipment that improves the energy efficiency of the school nutrition operations (e.g., purchase of energy efficient walk-in freezer replacing an outdated, energy-demanding freezer)
Focus Area 3: Participation
Equipment that allows SFAs to support participation in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and/or School Breakfast Program (SBP) (e.g., equipment for serving meals in a non-traditional setting or to better utilize cafeteria space)
Vendor must be capable of delivering equipment to site within DC, which would include lift gate capacity, uncrating and final assembly where necessary and placement or installation for service within the location’s cafeteria kitchen. Note: Delivery and installation would be scheduled to occur during hours that are prearranged with the appropriate representative of Friendship PCS Facilities and/or Food and Nutrition Services.
