In a way, the Bears’ culture change started with Goldman. He’s the only remaining player from general manager Ryan Pace’s first draft class. All he wants to do is do his job and do it well.
“He’s a quiet-mannered guy,” Rodgers said. “When he has questions, he asks questions. When you ask him to do something, he does it well. And he will challenge coaches.” That is a heartfelt compliment from Rodgers.
“He’s a smart football player that, maybe, he just doesn’t say a whole lot,” Rodgers said. “That’s not because he is a recluse or withdrawn from the guys. The guys love him. Everybody loves him.”
