General Information
FAET is designed to prepare students for careers in engineering, networking, software development, and architectural design. The curriculum includes Project Lead the Way; a national program which prepares students for careers in engineering and biomedical sciences. The Friendship academic model provides an intimate, safe and inclusive environment; project-based learning; college preparation and advance placement classes; exposure to college; extended time for academic support and community and parent involvement.

Vision
FAET seeks to unify rigourous academic standars with relevant life and career skills with a student centered project-based focus. FAET will prepare our students for high demand- high wage jobs for the future in the areas of ENGINEERING, INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY, MEDIA and COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY and HEALTH TECHNOLOGY.

Education
FAET's goal is to help students become masterful at acquiring knowledge and putting it to use. FAET teaches the most current technologies through a standards-driven, project-based curriculum that leads students to a path of entrepreneurship.

Enrollment
All elementary schools in the Baltimore City Schools district are zoned, based on legal residence of the student.  However, middle and high schools are no longer zoned.  For this reason, entering middle and high school students need to enroll through the choice process.
