General Information
FAST is designed to prepare students for careers in Environmental Science, Biosciences and Medical Sciences. FAST is partnered with Project Lead the Way, implementing a Biomedical Science curriculum. The Friendship academic model provides an intimate, safe and inclusive environment; project-based learning; college preparation and advance placement classes; exposure to college; extended time for academic support and community and parent involvement.

Vision
FAST seeks to unify rigourous academic standars with relevant life and career skills with a student centered project-based focus. FAST will prepare our students for high demand- high wage jobs for the future in the areas of INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY, MEDIA and COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY and HEALTH TECHNOLOGY.

Education
FAST's goal is to help students become masterful at acquiring knowledge and putting it to use. FAST teaches the most current technologies through a standards driven, project-based curriculum that will instill a sense of confidence in students and lead them to the path of entrepreneurship. 
   
Enrollment
All elementary schools in the Baltimore City Schools district are zoned, based on legal residence of the student.  However, middle and high schools are no longer zoned.  For this reason, entering middle and high school students need to enroll through the choice process.
