Gifts & Giving

The education of our children is arguably the most important issue of today, yet time and time again, public schools around the country fail our communities and we are stuck with the results.

Here in the District of Columbia, only 60% of high school seniors graduate annually, leaving a cause of alarm to be felt by the students left behind, their families, and their communities as their futures are left in limbo.

At Friendship Public Charter School, we believe in servicing the whole child addressing the academic, social, and cultural needs of our students. Our core curriculum and educational programming is designed to educate students where they are and help them to understand and realize their full potential so that they may surpass all expectations they have ever had for themselves.

We believe in our students and serve them with the most successful outcomes for their future at the forefront of our innovative educational methodology. Through our community vision, Friendship strives to provide students with a world class education, in hopes that we will help to provide adequate, capable and positive citizens of our economy and the world. It is our mission at Friendship Public Charter School to provide a world-class education that motivates students to achieve high academic standards, enjoy learning and develop as ethical, literate, well-rounded and self-sufficient citizens that contribute actively to their communities.
