Friendship Public Charter School is now enrolling students for school year 2010-2011! Submit your enrollment forms before the March 26, 2010 deadline!
Enrollment Priorities*:
1. Current enrolled students in school year 2009-2010
2. Siblings of current Friendship students
3. Students in the following grade levels:
• Chamberlain - PS(3 year olds), PK (4 year olds), K, 1st and 2nd grade levels
• Woodridge - PS(3 year olds), PK (4 year olds), K, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade levels
• Southeast - PS(3 year olds), PK (4 year olds), K, 1st and 2nd grade levels
• Blow Pierce – PS (3 year olds), PK (4 year olds). K, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels
• Tech Prep- 6th grade
• Collegiate Academy(Woodson) - 9th grade
*Parents wishing to enroll students in other grades not listed above may submit enrollment forms. However, students will be placed on our waiting list in the order their applications are received until enrollment slots become available.
The enrollment period for school year 2010-2011 will begin December 1, 2009 and will remain open until March 26, 2010. If any grade is oversubscribed, a lottery will be held to randomly select applicants on April 14, 2010. Preference will be granted to students enrolled in sy 2010-2011 and siblings of current Friendship students. After the enrollment period, students will be enrolled on a first come-first serve basis until the school reaches its enrollment capacity.
ENROLLMENT ELIGIBILITY: Enrollment is open to all District of Columbia residents. Friendship Public Charter Charter School does not discriminate against anyone on the basis of a student's race, color, religion, national origin, language spoken, intellectual or athletic ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, or status as a student with special needs.
HOW TO ENROLL: To enroll, parents must complete two phases of the enrollment process. Please read the attached Enrollment Fact Sheet for a complete list of documents required for enrollment. Parents who fail to submit ALL required documentation, by the Phase 1 (Pre-Registration) and Phase 2 (Enrollment/Registration) deadlines will become ineligible for enrollment.
